Crowns
Permanently cover, or “cap” a tooth; sealing it from the rest of the mouth.
Crowns improve the strength of a tooth, as well as improving the shade, shape, or alignment of a tooth. Crowns require two visits; one to prepare the tooth before an impression is taken, and a second to cement the crown after it has been fabricated by a lab.
Crowns are different from a veneer because they cover the entire tooth.
